AdoramaPix galleries are automatically created whenever you upload images to AdoramaPix, or when you choose to create a gallery. All new galleries start out as temporary galleries that expire over time, but you can choose to move them to your permanent storage.
Organizing your Photos
When organizing your photos, you can choose to copy or move your photos between galleries. This is easily accomplished by entering the gallery that contains the photos you wish to organize. You can enter a gallery by clicking on its name in the gallery list, as shown below.
Once you've opened that gallery, you'll see a number options on the right, as indicated below. We'd like to draw your attention to the Copy to Gallery and Move to Gallery options which have been underlined.
- To move images from one gallery to another, first select the images you want to move by checking the box beneath its thumbnail.
- Then click on the Move to Gallery option on the right. This will open a panel which gives you the option to move the selected photos to an existing gallery, or to a new one.
To select an existing gallery, just click on the pull down to see a list. If you create a new one, you can click in the box and set the name of the newly created gallery.
Functionally, this option is the same as the option to move photos except that the originals are left behind. i.e. you create duplicates of the selected photos at the new destination.
