I have a couple of logos which I need to use in a photo book, but the uploader rejects them as "Invalid or unsupported image format." They're saved as 8 bit TIFFs in RGB color space, with transparency enabled. Is there any workaround (a Photoshop-esque "blend if" command hidden somewhere in the editor, perhaps) that will allow me to use logos without the ugly white border/background that a flattened file produces? Obviously, I could build my own page layouts and import them, but I'm searching for a way to be able to utilize your available themes.

This is a huge issue as the stickers are not high quality. I need to be able to make my own stickers with transparency.
At this time we don't have support for images with transparency. That is a feature on our to-do list, but the format we are planning to support at this time is PNG files. Which stickers are you having problems with Leslie?
I am not having any trouble with any of the stickers, they just are not very attractive and I don't want to ruin my extremely nice photobook with them. I really want to make my own; PNGs would be fine. I have PNGs of over 50 flowers, you have about 5, not really in focus. I'd rather use mine. Also, I wanted to use a sticker of my dad's 65 year old HS athletic letter; so obviously you don't have that one. Since these are books that can often be commemorative, we need to be able to make our own non-photo things to enhance the photos.
I managed to break up my dad's letter (an A) into 5 rectangular pieces and use each of those smashed all together to reconstruct the letter, and it looks really wonderful. He will be delighted. But it shouldn't have been so hard! and if I could have used PNGs it would have been a breeze.
The photobook otherwise is stupendous. It arrived within a week of when I placed the order, is gorgeous, and well worth the $$ spent. I color and exposure corrected all my own pictures and they came out very well, and even looked better than I had expected. You have an excellent product, but we really need those PNGs!!
So, Al, when can I use my own PNGs? Currently am making a wedding book for my son. Need to use red roses and white orchids, you have neither (altho you have a nice white rose.) Timeframe of ability to use images with transparency?
The item currently being worked on is similar to what you're looking for, but not quite the same thing. Image masks. i.e. being able to put photos into odd-shaped placeholders. Let me get back top you on this after I've had an opportunity to discuss it with the team.
Masks would be fine too.
Any word on how this is progressing? I'd also like to be able to use my own vectors with transparent backgrounds. The type of file isn't important.
This has moved from the 'its on the list' status to something the team is currently working on. Support for transparent PNGs will be a reality in the very near future. This is a feature I have long been looking forward to since it will give all of us the ability to create our own stickers.
