I ordered a Senior's book at a competitor twice before I tried you. Your photo quality books with lay flat pages just blew their products away......& saved me money as well!! I just got my first wedding book from you today. This just confirms my trust in you & my decision to continue to do business with you. In a market as we have now, I'm happy I found a way to cut my costs without compromising the quality I expect my clients to receive.

I guess the only thing I feel would be a good practice would be to offer smaller demo books to photographers at say half price. I've had 2 great books from you guys now but unfortunately don't have demos to show my clients. It's one thing for me to tell clients that the books are great....it's another to show them!! Could increase sales for both you & me..............

Tried to call customer support just a few minutes ago - at 1:27 PM Saturday - your answering machine stated Friday hours til 2PM - your Friday hours as stated on the website are now only until 12:45???

Also, where on your website is "On-line Chat" ?  or is this only "visible" on the website when it is available???

I have been very pleased with your quality and price and usually with your expediency .....  it just seems to vary unpredictably....

Thank You for your attention in this matter!

Thank you so much for making such high quality photo books!  I've been making photo books through one of your competitors for 4 years, and nothing they do comes close to the book I just received this week.  Everything about the book and photos is amazing.  I am a permanent customer!  Thanks again.

I too am disappointed at Adorama's customer service staff. I attended a trade event where I saw an Adorama brochure stating that attendees would receive a $25 credit if I created an Adorama account and send an email to events@AdoramaPix.com.

I followed the instructions, and was looking forward to trying out some of your products, that apparently have good reviews. After a week, there was still no response to my email, so I called the customer service line - and waited a long time before I could speak to someone. The woman who took my call was brusque but said she would add the credit to my account immediately.

Four hours later, there was still nothing in my account, so I called back - waited a long time again until a person would take the call - and a similarly unfriendly woman took my call and said that it's not possible to add the credit over the phone, and I would just have to wait until the people handling events@AdoramaPix.com had time to deal with the request. I asked how long, and she irritably said just wait another week or two.

This isn't even about the $25 credit anymore - it's how the situation was handled. So much for taking pride in customer service...

I am not impressed with the laxed customer support in the prints area.  I won't give a reps name in a blog, however, I had an order that was placed based on the numbers given and had an estimated day of Monday to be delivered when I ordered.  Then when I got the confirmation email, it showed the next day, Tuesday.  I can work with that.  Tuesday comes, no product.  I call and spoke to the rep and was advised, "according to what I (as the customer) knows, they (being Adorama) have changed their shipping plans.  So I paid more to guarantee my shipping of a product for a specific event (funeral) and my feedback was, well according to me, from what I know, its changed.

Adorama, thanks for failing me in this event of a 5 year old's last event.  I paid double for shipping for 1 enlarged print and you failed me and the family for their englarged display print that was to be at the entrance.  My business may not have been big and in the thousands, but I would at least expect the same treatment as a high end customer for just 1 image.  You won't see my money anymore.  Thanks.

I just wanted to tell you of the wonderful customer servcie, i recevied

I made my first photo book, a wedding album for my daughter.  the cover was not correct and had dots showing thru the black backgroud .  They arrived on Saturday and I sent a request of how to get it corrcted the same day.  On Sunday I decied to check to see if anyone had pickup my request.  I chatted with Kayra Pilar, who advised she had already reviewed, knew what happened and was having the albums reprinted and shipped.

I had excected to have to jump through alot of hoops to have corrected, but my issue was taken care of right away and on a Sunday no less.

Thank you

Just received my second print order from you.

Nice job of printing.

Very nice and careful packaging of prints for shipment.

I tried to enter this on your "Live Chat" system, but it is not working (as the May 6th comment above says). This adds to my frustrations outlined below.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent order. My order #902436 arrived this week and I opened the box today. Four of my 16x20 prints have been ruined and are unusable. They have been cut off right thru the images. I did not ask for color correction but I have every right to assume I will receive the prints centered on the paper, not cut thru the image. I am astounded that prints would leave Adorama in this condition. Does no one so much as glance at your products? This is very poor quality control.

These images were selected from my image gallery titled August 15 2011. Each one is centered on the page with white borders (as can be easily checked).

I need these prints replaced. How do I/we make that happen? This is 100% an error on Adorama's part.

Please respond as soon as possible. I am happy to provide any other details needed.

Thank-you, Gretchen Faulk

In the last 11 months I submitted 2 customer service requests to AdoramaPix using the Support-->"SUBMIT A REQUEST" form and both have gone unanswered.  When I go to the Support-->"CHECK YOUR EXISTING REQUESTS" I see one from 20-Sep-2010 with a state of "Awaiting assignment to a help desk operator" and the other from 18-Jul-2011 in "Being processed" state.  Very pathetic service.  Goodbye.

Hi Gretchen. When I passed on your comments to customer support I was told someone had spoken to you and the issue had been resolved to your satisfaction. Please let me know if that is not the case.

Thanks.

I have ordered one of your books as well.  I ordered in Early Sept.  Still have not received it.  Two enquiries since, and not a peep of a reply.  I received an email confirmation stating the ordered shipped (actually shipped early) and I was impressed up until I never received it.  The USPS site and tracking information say nothing more than it was processed in New York.  It was meant to be shipping to Thailand, but I have not received it yet.  I wish you guys would have offer 2-3 day UPS or Fed Ex.

Can someone confirm the status of the order???  I understand it was free (plus shipping costs), but I wouldn't have expected you guys to botch the VERY FIRST ORDER, LOL...  I mean, to me, this isn't a way to get repeat business...  LOL...  At least a reply may help with keeping customers satisfied.

I for one would probably use the service again if I would ever get the product and could inspect the quality for myself, providing Customer Service would make it right in a timely manner.  There are plenty of other options out there to do prints and books...  FYI

Your live chat does not work. Also when I try to e-mail you it opens my Outlook. I should be able to click on the e-mail option without needing Outlook. Both of these options need some serious re-vamping and fixing.

Hi Joshua. When you click on a "mailto" link in your web browser it will launch whatever email client you have set as your default. The default mail client is set on your end and isn't something we have any control over.

Can you please clarify what happened when you tried to use our live chat? The way it is supposed to work is - during the hours when staff are available it goes to one of our support reps who answer your questions immediately. During times when someone isn't available, it allows you to describe your issue and provide your contact info and it sends this to customer support. Please let me know what happened for you. Thanks.

I was very upset with the first order I placed with you.  I order almost 20 prints, paid the extra for rush service and shipping so I would have my prints in time for the holidays, to give as gifts and to frame and re-ship the needed ones.  None of the 8X10's I ordered arrived.  Still waiting...now the gifts I need to ship won't make it to their destinations in time.  Very disappointing, especially for a first time customer!

I'm sorry Jennifer. Please contact customer support about the issue. I understand that there's no way to go back and fix it so you get them on time, but at least if we can figure out what went wrong then we can keep it from happening again.

You can reach them toll free at 888-216-6400 during business hours.

Best Regards,

I have JAlbum Pro _ the license, a paypal account and FotoPlayer Pro

Hi~
I am a customer from Hong Kong. I would like to order a PhotoBook and ship internationally to Hong Kong.
However, I have problems when I try to update the shipping address. When I tried to input my Hong Kong mobile phone number, it said that my mobile number is wrong. (I don't have a US phone number) Please advise how I could solve the problems.

Thanks,
Otto

What was up with the recent photo book promotion?  The email newsletter and website said PXSPRING would take 25% off ALL photo books.  I built a leather lux photo book and entered it before the expiration date, only to be told that the code could not be applied to my order.  As a result, I didn't order the book.  I only just now found out that your facebook page says there was a separate code PXSPRINGL (with an L) for leather lux photo books.  Why did the email newsletter and website only list one code which claimed to be good for all photo books when it was not?  I emailed customer service, but they had no clue and just said that the code was expired.  You should extend the sale and send out a new newsletter with the correct codes.

Hi Mark. The reason the Leather-Lux promotion wasn't mentioned in the mailout was because originally the sale didn't include LL books. We then decided to extend the discount to LL books and offered it through Facebook. We occasionally offer special promotions through Facebook and Twitter and this was one of them. If you follow us on Facebook and Twitter you'll be kept abreast of all such promotions in the future.
