Want to use the new AdoramaPix Picasa Web Uploader? Here’s how!

The Picasa™ Web uploader for AdoramaPix will only work with Picasa3. If you have another version of Picasa, please download Picasa3 now. Once you have Picasa™3 installed on your computer, go to the Upload Photos tab on your AdoramaPix home page (you must be logged in! If you do not have an account, please go HERE to set up your free basic account). After deciding to upload to an existing gallery or create a new one, click on “Choose Uploader.”

The next page will present you with the choice of upload methods. Click on Picasa Web Uploader; a dialog box will open asking you to confirm that you want to launch Picasa and import buttons. Just say “Yes!”

The available buttons will appear on the left side. To add the AdoramaPix button, simply click on Add, it will be transferred to the Current Button side. (You can remove buttons the same way as well.) When you are finished, be sure to save your changes by clicking OK in the button dialog box.

The AdoramaPix logo will now appear in the bottom bar of your Picasa screen.
You can choose to upload all the images in a Picasa folder by selecting all of the images (click anywhere in the folder and press Crtl A). The images will appear in the bottom bar of Picasa. You can also drag and drop individual images from your folders to the bottom bar. To upload the images you’ve selected to your AdoramaPix account, click on the AdoramaPix logo. You’ll be taken directly to the AdoramaPix Upload page. Choose to create a new gallery, add the Picasa photos to a new gallery or choose to order photos.

We’re trying to place an order from our Picasa images, so we'll choose “Order Photos.” Once the photos are uploaded, you’ll be on the “Review Photos” step of the ordering process. You can now choose to add more photos, either from your current AdoramaPix galleries, or by uploading from your computer. Once you are finished adding photos, continue on with the order process by clicking the orange “Next: Setup Job” button in the bottom right of the screen.
