Importing from a Windows PC

The import screen (shown below) is divided into three parts. The leftmost panel shows a list of photo sources you can get photos from. Uploading from your computer is the second source on the list (See #1 below). To start uploading, click on the browse button in the upload panel (See #2 below).

When Browse is clicked on, you will see a windows file browser open that looks something like the image below (actual layout will vary depending on your version of windows). Use the browser to navigate to the folder that contains your photos.

Once you have located the folder with your photos (See below), you can select one or more of those photos and click on the open button (See #1 below) to start uploading them. To select a photo you need only click on it in order to select it.

icon_info.jpg You can load multiple photos by holding down the CTRL key as you click on the photos you want. If you want to select a block of photos, hold down the SHIFT key and click on the first and last photo in the group. To load all of the photos in a folder, select any photo in the folder and press CTRL-A.

Once you have selected your images, you will be returned to the import screen and you will see the upload progress displayed in the center panel (See #1 below). As each photo is uploaded you will see a progress bar followed by a green check mark to indicate a successful upload. As each photo is uploaded, it will be added automatically to the project photos panel (See #2 below)

icon_info.jpg If you realize you added a photo to the list hat you don’t want, you can click on the red X (See #3 above) before it has uploaded to remove it from the queue.
