AdoramaPix provides a number of pre-made book themes for you to use. However, because everyone’s needs are different, we also provide you with the tools to easily change those themes to suit your needs. Please note that you can change anything in our pre-made themes. This includes the backgrounds as well as the positioning of objects on the page. Listed below are some of the commonly needed ways you can easily modify our themes to suit your needs.

  • NOT ENOUGH HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL PHOTO SPACES

You may have lots of wide photos and not very many tall ones, or the other way around. If the theme that you’ve chosen doesn’t have enough frames of the correct shape, and you don’t want to crop a bunch of your photos, here’s what you do. The easiest solution is to move or duplicate another page layout in the book that has the layout that you want. Click on the page so that the toolbox above the workspace changes to the page toolbox. Then click on copy (See #1 below) to make a copy of that page spread, go to the page you want to replace, and click paste (See #2 below). This will cause another copy of the page layout you needed to be copied over the one you didn’t need.

  • NOT ENOUGH (OR TOO MANY) PHOTOS

Maybe the book you chose has room for 50 photos and you have only 40, or the other way around. The solution for this problem is the same as that for the one above – change the layout. Chances are that the pre-made book you selected has some page spreads that contain more or less spaces for photos. Just browse through the book until you find a layout you like that has more spaces and copy/paste it over one that has less (or vice versa). In moments you’ll be able to customize the book to suit your needs.

  • CHANGING BACKGROUNDS

Let’s say you’re creating a wedding album, but instead of the ivory color provided in the template, you would prefer pink or light blue. Changing your background is as easy as dragging and dropping a background from the extensive library we have provided for you. Our editor lets you change your background without changing anything else on the page.

  • CHANGING COLORS

There are times when you would prefer for certain elements on a page to be a different color. You can change sticker colors, change font colors, or change background colors very easily.

  • REMOVING OBJECTS YOU DON'T NEED ON A PAGE

Removing objects from a page is easy. Just click on the object so that it is framed with a dotted black and white line. The press the DELETE button on your keyboard, or click the delete icon at the rightmost end of the quick control toolbox for that object.

If you change your mind or make a mistake, just use the undo function on the toolbox above the workspace (See below)

  • CHANGING THE POSITION OF OBJECTS ON A PAGE

You can change just about anything on a page to suit your needs. You can move objects around, resize them, rotate them or crop them.
