Back In 2008 when AdoramaPix was preparing to offer premium photo books  to its customers, we were faced with a decision. To use an 'out of the box' solution or to build our own. After reviewing the various book editing tools that were available, we decided we could best serve our customers by building our own. Since that time we have been constantly improving our proprietary PixPublisher editor to better serve your needs.

Advantages of PixPublisher

  • It is based on Adobe Flash. This means anyone can use it from any web enabled device that supports a current version of flash.
  • No download or installation is necessary. You can work on your book from the local Internet cafe if you like.
  • Because it is web-based, people at different locations can collaborate on a project.
  • Because we control the development, we can add the features our customers require.

How it works

  • What you see is what you get. The way your project looks in the editor is the way it will look when you print it. Below is an example of a printed book on the left, and that same book in the editor on the right.

  • Change anything. We don't force you to use a limited selection of layouts - you have total control over placement, size, angle, transparency,
    etc.
  • Every spread is like one big page. If you want to put a photo across the whole spread go right ahead. We don't limit you to choosing sides.
  • Easy to use. Click on something and all the options for what you can do with it pop up in our interface. Want to move something? Just click and drag. Want to re-size something? Just click on the corner and pull.
